Reading guide

These developing study notes introduce Canadian financial reporting for insurance, beginning with IFRS 17 concepts. This is a working study collection, not a complete syllabus or accounting advice.

Available material

Start with the IFRS 17 comparison notes. The book retains its bibliography and interactive flashcard tools. Further chapters on measurement, presentation and disclosure are planned and have not yet been written.

Prerequisites: introductory insurance terminology, cash-flow valuation and basic financial statements. Standards and examination requirements can change; use the responsible standard setter’s current publications for practice decisions.

The old landing-page spreadsheet embed was omitted from this public build because its sharing status and contents were not established. Its original source remains in the local migration backup.
